I want a tampon commercial where the women are fighting zombies or some shit.
And they’re all beat up and bloody and shoving tampons into bullet wounds to stop the bleeding.
And I want one of the ladies to full-on decapitate a zombie with a machete or maybe a scythe.
And then I want her to look directly into the camera with blood running from an open wound on her forehead and say,
“For the fighting spirit.”
^ That commercial would win all of the Oscars.
That commercial would make more sense that all this faffing about through the fields of daisies and cuddling your fucking tampons bullshit…

What the fuck does love do to us? It changes us, it makes us vulnerable to a person in a way we never thought possible. It’s the reason some get out of bed or just dream at night. It’s what makes the most narcissistic cynic feel joy.
It’s the reason I can’t move on. The reason why my defenses of mindless sexuality or destruction fails.
He’s the only remedy for a smile on the suckiest of days. But he’ll never know that.
As long as he’s happy though, ignorance is bliss, and I need to just be glad I’m in his presence.

What they did not want you to ever find out is that your generation, the generation born between 1980-1995, actually outnumbers the Baby Boomers. They knew that if you ever turned your eye towards political reform, you could change the world. They tried to keep you sated on vapid television shows and vapid music. They cut off your education and fed you brain candy. They took away your music and gave you Top Ten pop stations.
